Configuring the tool
The first time using the tool, a few configurations need to be done.
1. Go to Options > Settings
2. Under the tab 'General':
- Change 'Wii disc partitions to keep' to Remove Update Partition
- This setting will shrink the overall size by removing update and garbage partitions, but will keep non-game partitions that may be needed for the game to work.
- Change 'Folder layout' to Store files in separate sub-folders
- Change 'Naming style' to Title_[GameID] (note the underscore)
- Change 'WBFS split size' to 4 GB
- Enable 'Automatically update storage convention when drive is mounted'
How To Convert Wii Games To Wbfs
- Under Hide drives, choose all internal drives of your computer.
- This is optional, but will prevent you from accidentally 'installing' games on your computer
- Enable 'Use GameTDB titles.txt'
- Optionally, change the titles language
- Click 'Download titles.txt'
- Enable 'Use GameTDB titles for file and folder names'
- Make sure all other checkboxes are unchecked (these options may cause your drive to go corrupt)
Transferring games
You will now see all games that you have on the Drive. Notice that there is information about your drive on the bottom.
2. After you have selected your drive in the Drive 1 tab, you can choose individual ISO, cISO or WBFS files or a folder to add to your drive.
Go to the Files Tab. Then choose 'Add', then 'Files' or 'Folder'.
3. Choose what games/images you want to transfer by using the check boxes. Then click on Transfer and choose Drive 1.
