Which machine can I use this Software with ?

New and old Janome Embroidery Machines including MC15000, MC12000, MC11000, MC10000, MC10001, MC9900, MC350e, MC200e and MB4 Designs are sent directly from your PC straight into the machine via its USB or serial port connection.

Janome MC9700, MC9500 and Janome MC300e use the optional USB card read/writer kit attached to your PC where you can save your designs to flash card, which can then be inserted into the card port of the Janome MC9700, MC9500 and MC300e.

If you own another embroidery machine or brand you can still use this software, but you may also need some sort of device to get the designs from your PC into the machine to stitch out, usually just a USB memory stick does the trick.

Embroidery designs are created in layers. You usually digitize from the background to the foreground. When we purchase a design, we do not know how the designer created the stitch file. Artistitc Digitizer allows us to peel back the layers and look closely at the design and view how it will stitch out before we send it to our machine.

Open a design that was purchased or downloaded from the internet. Artistic Digitizer has the ability to open file formats other than the .JEF native format. Below is a .VP3 stitch file I downloaded from the internet. I opened the software and then navigated to where the design was on my computer.

CAN USE BUILT IN DESIGNS OR YOUR OWN DESIGNS FROM YOUR COMPUTER

Once the design is open on the worktable, click on the down arrow at the top of the sequence bar to open it up completely. Now you can see all the steps as to what will stitch from first to last. This helps to plan how you will work through the design at the machine.
